Fun way to learn about SHAPES

Today's activity: Learning about shapes through felt bean bags.

Items: multiple colored felt, fancy buttons, fabric glue, fabric pen, big needle, crotchet thread, scissors, ruler, mung beans

Method: Cut the felt fabric into the shapes that you want. For each bean bag, you will need 2 identical pieces. One for the back and one for the front.

For embellishment, sew in the fancy buttons, or you can cut additional shapes from the felt fabric. You can either glue or sew the additional fabric. I prefer to glue and sew.

Put the front and back pieces together and Sew with running stitch 3/4 around the edges with the crotchet thread of your choice.

Pour in the mung beans. Make sure it is not too full and sew until finish. Your felt shaped bean bag is now ready.
